I am a bit of a cosmetics junkie. I have been reading about retinol and would like some advice, does anyone know where to start?

There is a lot of very confusing information out there about this.

I have tazarotene at 0.1 percent which I understand is much more potent than OTC products. I think it is Retin A?

I'm confused though tbh since this thread indicates that retinol is more potent than a retinoid but the internet indicates that a retinoid is stronger Confused and that Retin A is then the strongest.

Tretinoin is strongest retinol. It's prescription only or you can buy it off eBay!!!

I use tretinoin 0.01% gel (got on prescription in the US for acne scarring). I don't get any adverse reaction to it, and it definitely works to gently erase my forehead lines and crows feet
