Bought some of this in TKMaxx yesterday and have used it in the shower this morning.
Anyone tried it, and were you pleased with the results?

I used it last winter and was pleased with the results, although it did take a good week to see any. Couldn't keep using it long term though because I found it very drying on my skin after a while. Also it smells like wood varnish which turned me off!

TossDaily · 10/01/2018 09:31

I like it, but I'm very pale (think blue) so any extra colour shows up on me, and I only like a very light colour anyway.

I think some people find it a bit disappointing, though, if they want serious colour.

FiveShelties · 10/01/2018 09:33

Does it stain the towel?

ladystarkers · 10/01/2018 09:39

Its crap

Kitsharrington · 10/01/2018 10:39

Agree it's only for those that are v pale naturally. If you're looking for an alternative to applying fake tan liberally and being mahogany brown, no it's not going to do that.

Paintbox · 10/01/2018 11:24

I love it. I am very pale so I don’t like a dark colour. The in shower stuff takes a few days for the colour to build, making it quite expensive to use I suppose but you can choose to stop when you get the colour you like and then just top up every few days. It never streaks as well which is another reason why I love it.

Madbengalmum · 10/01/2018 11:27

I think its a marmite product, you either love it or hate it. I prefer the gradual tan lotion, but know many who like the shower stuff.

Pavonia · 10/01/2018 11:34

I used it a couple of times and couldn't see any difference.

earlofhell · 10/01/2018 11:35

rimmels in shower is better.

pandorawithtreaclecolouredhair · 10/01/2018 13:30

Sounds like it might suit me, then ,as I am naturally fair skinned and just wanted a bit of a glow.
FiveShelties: no, it doesn't stain the towel, as it is rinsed off before you dry yourself.

Does it not tan your palms then?

pandorawithtreaclecolouredhair · 10/01/2018 14:07

Hasn't tanned my palms: I saved shower gel on my body puff thing and washed my palms while in the shower waiting for the three minutes that the tanner has to be left on for.

pandorawithtreaclecolouredhair · 10/01/2018 16:27

HL: yes, it seemed a long three minutes, but all in the name of beauty!

I thought it was a load of shit. Much prefer the standard St Tropez stuff.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 10/01/2018 17:51

used it last summer, did not make much of an impact but to be fair it made me itch so much I had to stop using it.

FiveShelties · 10/01/2018 21:00

Thanks pandora - I am a bit over protective of my white towels. Grin
