Plastic free s&b

I have crossed over to the soap side following previous threads extolling their virtues including their lack of plastic packaging. I would like to minimise plastic in other parts of my s&b world (as well as other parts of our lives).

I have switched to a facial oil (radiance) which is gorgeous, instead of facial moisturiser. I use soap on my hair so shampoo is sorted. I don't use conditioner. I have found a rimmel foundation in a glass jar, but I don't love it as much as the rimmel bb tinted moisturiser I was using (tube). I would also like an eye cream. Obviously I'll use up what I have so far, but I would like to start replacing with glass or other more eco friendly packaged products if they exist.

Has anyone any ideas for where/which brands are worth looking at?

I really love Dr Hauschka for moisturiser and other skincare. Not sure if their makeup is packaged in any plastic, but everything I buy from them is glass / metal tubes. Plastic lids, though.

They are an ethical brand too. Not sure if you're mainly thinking about reducing plastics for now, but I think Rimmel might test on animals, for instance?

Good luck Smile

Oh crap, really? I didn't realise that about rimmel. That's them off my shopping list. I found Leaping Bunny mentioned on another thread so I'm going to look there, but of those I've check out so far most are US based and I'd prefer to minimise air miles too if I can.

I don't use a lot of products so I'm happy to invest in better quality/more eco/ethical. I've heard of Dr H, so I'll look there now, thanks. Any eye cream recs?
