Had flu, look shit, what to do?

Have had proper full on flu with 4 days of temperature, headache, shivers etc. Now got terrible cough, achey, feel tired, skin looks awful with big spot in middle of chin, hair is dry and awful, happy new year to me!
Any tips on how to get looking and feeling more human gratefully received.

It sounds glib but rest. Eat well. Keep hydrated.

Cut yourself some slack as your body has been doing an amazing job fighting the flu?

Keep as hydrated as you can and rest - I had flu and have never felt so dry and husky in my life.

In the end, I think I ended up drinking so much water (and completely avoiding booze) that my skin now actually looks the best it has done in a long time!

I also piled on the hydrating products when I felt well enough to be able to face any sort of skincare routine.

I had the flu at the beginning of December. Vitamin c, zinc and magnesium have been my friend since then to get me back feeling normal. Also plenty of rest. I stopped all my exercising and took extra sleep whenever I could. Feel great now and can wait to get back to normal life this week!

Wrap up warm but a walk in the fresh air makes me feel more human.

Bed rest. Keep warm. Plenty of fluid. Vit C 1000

Drink a lot of water, get a lot of sleep. When you feel able, get out into the fresh air for a bit of a walk daily, wrap up warm. And soup. Chicken broth.

Thank you for all the tips. Bought some Centrum Plus multivits today so will take for a month. Have also got some fresh air the last couple of days although legs like rubber.
