Just that really, to wear over leggings and with knee high boots.

Have you had a look at the Joe Browns website, they do some lovely tunic tops.

You may want to rethink knee high boots for a long haul flight. I wore them once and travel reasonably often long haul, I also don’t get lots of swelling but the bit of swelling I did get made putting the boots on again difficult and really uncomfortable. I would never wear them again. Please ignore if that just totally won’t apply to you though.

Yes, I do a lot of long haul and wouldn't wear knee boots either - usually just wear trainers and bung them in the overhead for the flight.

(my standard long haul uniform at the moment is a Boden jersey jumpsuit that is a)quite presentable especially with a jacket over it, and b)basically pyjamas)

I've been buying a lot of seasalt tunics recently

+1 to Seasalt, I'm wearing one of their stripy tunics as a dress today.

Another one suggesting a rethink on the boots. Ive seen several women struggling with getting them on and off at security, as they are often asked to remove to be scanned seperatly.

My nice tunic comes from white stuff - but has a big metal zip, so I wouldnt fly in it.

PhuntSox · 09/01/2018 17:23

Earth Kind Originals, Seasalt and Toast have some that look comfy.

Lol @ Fluffy I read the op & immediately thought Joe Browns! Mantaray or Apricot also do nice tunics but Joe Browns are definitely nicest.

Thank you for the suggestions and although I fly long haul a couple of times a year I have never worn leggings or knee high boots.

I can now see that the security aspect would be a pain and also my feet may swell, never thought of that either!

Back to the drawing board as I only wear leggings with knee high boots as `i have big feet and think anything else looks odd on me.

Thank you all anyway.
