Coach Scout Hobo - can I fit a 13" laptop inside it? Other ideas?

Hi

Looking for a smart bag for the office that will fit a 13" laptop.

Specifically I have this laptop Dell.com/laptop XPS 13

I am looking at this bag Coach.com/hobo

My budget is only up to about £150 and part of me wonders whether to go for a backpack but I need something that can be smart. I like this backpack but not sure if it would be considered smart?

I have this bag. I think you would struggle as it's very narrow and even if the laptop went through the top zip you would struggle to stuff other items down the sides.
