My Dc bought me a ring for Christmas and I’ve lost it

I’m so upset :(. It was too small for my 4th finger but slightly too big for my little finger. I was fairly sure I’d lost it in the house somewhere but I’ve searched everywhere.

The dc bought it to match (as nearly as possible) the ring in the picture which has my late Dh’s hair in it. I don’t want them to know I’ve lost it so please can any of you point me in the direction of a similar ring so I can replace it. Tia.

Could you all the kids where they bought it on the pretext of wanting to have it resized?

I lost 2 rings one of my sons bought me including my eternity ring from my exh, I was more upset at losing the rings from my son.
I kept quiet about it for months as I was sure they would turn up eventually. Despite turning the house out they never did.
10 months later I resigned myself to the fact they had simply disappeared off the face of the earth and admitted they had gone to my son. He had purchased them from QVC so he found his old order and I managed to replace them.
5 days after replacing them I was putting the Christmas decorations up. I was randomly going through a bag of decorations and as I reached in I looked down and there amongst the baubles in the bottom of the bag lay my rings! I was jumping up and down with happiness. Never give up hope, mine had been missing since Jan 5th last year.

Oh that’s funny crimson. I’m glad you found them. I’ve ordered another one now but I wouldn’t be too surprised if it does turn up eventually as, like I said, I could’ve sworn I lost it in the house somewhere :)

Very strange as I had given it most of the year and had given up. As I ordered the replacements I thought to myself they'll turn up now and they did - spooky. Hope the same thing happens for you.

Strange thing happened!

We have wooden built-in shoe boxes with hinged lids in the porch. This morning I went to open the lid to get my shoes and there, sat squarely on top, was the missing ring. Definitely wasn’t there last night when I put my shoes away.

I asked the dc if any of them had put it there (still hadn’t told them I’d lost it fortunately - just asked if anyone had moved it from my bedroom) - and none of them had.

What a doubly happy ending- a replacement found for the OP to buy and the original turning up!

Lost a bracelet once and searched high and low for it. Found it the following winter when I went to put on a pair of gloves and it must of rolled off when I took them off. I was over the moon to find it.
