Urban Decay Lipstick

I'm asking on here for DD17 who will have some birthday money to spend. How good are they and any colour suggestions? Many thanks!

Good texture and long lasting
Very good case, nice reassuring 'click' and very classy in the metallic
DD started off with the Comfort Matte in 'Backchat' which is a nudey pink, and she;'s increased from there.
I bought her a set of 4 mini lippies at Christmas.

And ..... very important Cruelty Free

Absolutely love mine! Lasts ages especially with primer and lip pencil. Have the comfort matte in 'Uptight'. DD is always 'borrowing' it which suggests is suitable for all ages

Love UD lipsticks. I have Ravenswood in the creamy formula and it's lovely. Other shades to look at are Rush and Rapture.

The more extreme matte formulation is very drying but the comfort lattes are nicely matte but easy to wear. They also do a cream finish (shinier) which also is a lovely texture, and I think a sheer colour formula too.

I find if I use the conordinating UD lipliner lightly all over my lips then apply the lipstick, blot, then reapply then it will not budge for a full day even through eating and drinking. Superb staying power.

Comfort mattes obviously. Don’t think they do coffee.

Dd2 says they are her favourite lipsticks.

Good feedback so far! Sounds like they are worth a try. DD usually wears MAC so she fancies a change. Would you say UD is as good as MAC?

I think they are as good as each other. And the UD comfort mattes aren’t as drying as Mac mattes so I probably prefer them actually thinking about it.
