Help. Wedding ready hair.

Getting married in September and my hair is a mess.
Has always been long, brown, with a wave/ loose curl. Never done much but trimmed and local hairdressers and home dyed the front.

I had just started to embrace the grey ( mid 40's) so currently left with grey, dark dyed patches of various shades and natural colour.

I wanted to keep it longish to have options for styles on the big day and because that's "me". What should I do between now and September to have wedding ready hair please.

I would go to a salon and dye it keep it trimmed and use good conditioner. I would also get a hair style done for the day even if you do want it down it doesn't have to be plain down.

How many hair dyes will I need between now and Setember do you think?

I think about every 2 months for hair dye. Layers...keep them if you like! I guess it depends what it looks like/if you are happy with layers I don't think you'd need to grow them out. You can PM me a picture if you like and I can suggest what I would do?

Thank you, that would be helpful. I can't seem to get good photos without natural light so I will have a go tomorrow.

If you're going to use a hairdresser for your wedding book a practice run for fairly soon and have a play. Then you can take her/his advice with plenty of time to go on whether you should cut/trim/colour to make your style work. I did that and ended up only trimming my hair for 9 months because the style i wanted needed longer hair than I expected. If I'd left it and just carried on as normal I couldn't have had the "wedding hair" I'd chosen.
