Can anyone recommend a SLS free shampoo that can deal with frizzy hair please?

I use cantu products .

I alternate between Avalon Organics Lemon Clarifying Shampoo, Yes to Blueberries Shampoo and John Frieda Micellar Shampoo. The John Frieda is best for general use in my view and the Avalon one I use about once a week. They are all SLS free, I believe.

Sorry Charles Worthington, not John Frieda!

I used to use A'kin shampoos and they were great, I'm thinking of going back to them, bit they are not cheap

I've tried loads but will be re-buying moo goo. It's not super cheap but I love it and my skin and hair do too - no more itchy dry sls skin for me. Smile

Not sure what it's like for frizzy hair, but I'm very happy with it.

I’ve used a few listed on here:

www.gentlebubbles.com/buy-phthalate-free-products/sulfate-paraben-phthalate-free-shampoo/

The faith in nature one is cheap and fine,
Aubrey organic and Avalon are more expensive and a bit nicer scent and texture, Jason is the best for my very sensitive scalp.

Thanks everyone. I definitely need somerhing gentle for my scalp, so the more natural the better. Think I will take a trip to holland and barratt tomorrow as they seem to stock some of these suggestions.

That Jason one may be the one to try then, it’s the only shampoo I’ve ever used that hasn’t pissed off my scalp to some extent! It has a really odd gel like consistency, but both DH and I are treating it as some sort of miracle worker on our dodgy scalps!

Soyalatteforme · 06/01/2018 18:42

That's what I need. I've been through a few, but my scalp still rages, despite getting to the point where I only wash it every three days. Having survived the grease and crap hair to get to the point where I can leave it that long (which is far better for me) I want to use something gentle as I'm still getting a horridly itchy scalp. Most shampoos are ok for the first wash and then my hair becomes like straw! Especially with those shampoo bars!

I like herbal essences sls free in the classic/original bottles. It's easily available and the conditioner is great on my curly/frizzy hair
