Looking to share tips and successes from you ladies on here.
I have straight, fine, just above shoulder length hair and have been looking for ways to make it fuller.
Read some good tips about putting various natural products on your hair such as olive oil, avocado, banana and coconut oil.
The best one I have found is raw egg.
Sounds horrible but hear me out.
I bath everyday (not a big shower fan) and this is my treatment routine.
Step 1. Just dampen hair, not completely soak it.
Step 2. Crack an egg in a bowl and break the yolk (I normally do this with my hand).
Step 3. Apply to the hair with hands, just sweep it from front to back until your whole hair is covered.
Step 4. Leave for 4-5 minutes. It may start to dry out and feel a little hard but that’s fine.
Step 5. Rinse out.
Note - I find the bath easier than rinsing in the shower. I always fully submerge my head right underwater as it rinses our easier (although I know people aren’t always comfortable with that). It’s fine in the shower though, baths are my preference and I find them more effective.
Step 6. Shampoo but only use a small amount. I find a penny size blob in my hand is enough just to clean off the egg residue.
Step 7. Hold nose and go back under for a rinse. Sometimes an extra dunk or two underwater will allow me to get me fingers into my hair to massage the shampoo out.
Step 8. Pat dry with towel.
Step 9. If I blow dry it then a wide combing leaves my hair feeling and looking fuller.
Tip.
Anything from 1-3 times a week.
Avoid conditioning at the same time.
Your hair may appear dry after the first times but after a few weeks, mine really noticed the difference.
If anyone likes this or had any other remedies, share away.
