I know there's a few soap threads on here but what's everyone's favourite?

OP posts:

L'occitane, lemon verbena (I think!), altho they're all nice.

Greycat11 · 06/01/2018 11:28

Sainsburys luxury soap, fig and jasmine is lovely and only about £2.

pickledparsnip · 06/01/2018 11:40

Wrights coal tar soap. I bloody love that smell.

AtiaoftheJulii · 06/01/2018 11:40

L'Occitane Delicious Almond - I have keratosis pilaris on my forearms and upper arms - got the soap in my l'Occitane advent calendar, used it once and noticed a difference. Have been using it regularly since and my forearms are clearer than I can ever remember them being, and my upper arms are much improved and feel really smooth.

Fragrantia soaps are gorgeous. Expensive though.

Botanicbaby · 06/01/2018 14:04

for basics, Cuticura blue bar from Boots 1.25 bargain. The waitrose spa range ones are nice too, in brown wrapper cannot remember their names.

for luxury, the Roget et Galet cedarwood or any fragrance really they are so lovely and do not go soft and gloopy.

Oldraver · 06/01/2018 14:24

Simple for under my arms

I have been using Little Goat Soap on my face, and while it is one of the only products I have found that dont irritate my skin, it has made it very dry.

I love cliffe house organically soaps, they are handmade and only use natural products. The honey blossom and land and sea are my favourites and smell divine

I bought a bar of Nesti Dante (that was hailed in a Holy Grail of Soap manner on the other threads Grin ). It IS really nice (and cruelty free) , not a huge choice in shops. None in John Lewis at all but there were a few in Holland&Barrett (I got a cedar one had picture of trees on it).
Lovely soap, the only issue is the big bars are harder to handle so of course I managed to drop it (only once and it missed my feet)

My other faves are L'Occitane Shea Milk or the Verbena (shaped like a leaf)
Cinnamon Orange I think has been discontinued ...... :(

Gilead · 06/01/2018 21:16

Neste Dante Monasteries and Villages and Lily and Narcissisus. Last forever, the scent never goes and they don't go to mush!

Vitalogy · 06/01/2018 21:26

Another Nesti Dante fan here.

Ooo, Viatlogy you have the soap dish, it's on my wish list!

Gilead · 06/01/2018 22:07

Apologies, Vitalogy!

Vitalogy · 06/01/2018 22:39

Gilead be nice that soap dish, they're missing a trick there. I've had a look on their website, they make candles too.

FlaviaAlbia · 06/01/2018 23:49

Lisa they had the cinnamon orange in the sale I think if you wanted to stock up.

I think my current favourite I'm using is a honey one made in Thailand and found in TK Maxx. It really is lovely on the skin. Unfortunately, a flight to Thailand to restock once I run out puts it over budget.

My favourite scent so far is Nesti Dante's Flax, Rose water and Waterlily but I haven't actually started to use it yet.

JaceLancs · 07/01/2018 00:17

Bronnleys lemon or lime
Tkmaxx have lovely soaps if you don’t like fruit

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 07/01/2018 00:20

l’Occitane Bergamot.
Lovely smell.
