Will be in the US next week and everyone raves about Sephora. Is there anything anyone can recommend that I should buy?

Their shea butter body butter is amazing. Sinks straight in, no greasiness. I bring back tubs and tubs of it.

The eye sheet masks are great too.

I love Sephora. It's hard to say what to get as the joy of it is they have so much stuff we can't get here. What I need in there is lots of time to browse. When we go to NY I leave my husband in a nearby bar and spend at least an hour mooching round testing, sampling, playing. The staff are always helpful and knowledgable. This year I spent about $300 and then went back the next day for more!

Their own brand make up is affordable and comes in a mind blowing range of shades. They do some great branded mini sizes and offers in baskets by the tills which can be an affordable way to try things out. Last time I was there I got a pack of 5 mini mascaras including Marc Jacobs and Tarte for about $20. when I opened it it had a voucher to get a full size version of any one of the samples for free so I spent mine on the full size MJ velvet noir which retailed at $26. That was a bargain which still makes me happy.

IT cosmetics -it's only available on QVC here I think. I have the cc cream, great for red skin etc.

They also do fab collections of perfume , I covet this but they do great rollerball sizes of perfumes.
