Crew neck or v neck

When do you wear a crew neck Cardigan and when do you wear a v neck Cardigan - are there any style "rules" on this? Or what do you recommend?

It depends on cut said cardi.
I am big of boobs so find crew neck jumpers make me look like Dolly Parton on a bad day. With Cardigans doesn’t matter as I wear them open so the boobs are broken up.
Most of my cards are crew except for one lovely slouchy cashmerewhich is v neck.
It is all about balance and proportion - ask bo n the French style website - she is a genius - but it would be good to know more about your figure type.

Thank you, I used to wear crew necks all the time but I was a lot slimmer then - a size 12, I now have a tummy so generally in a size 14 and go for v necks now as I think they skim my fat bits a bit more! I have a small bust so my weight is around my tummy.

If you have a small chest but bigger tummy then I would emphasise your chest - so maybe crew necks would be good and maybe with a statement necklace which sits upper chest height?
