Hello all, trying to re-organise my wardrobe/accessories/jewellery in a way that makes it as easy as possible to get ready for work.

I almost always wear smart trousers and a top/cardigan/jumper.

Please advise if you would wear grey/black trousers with the following coloured tops/cardigans/jumpers.

  1. Camel
  2. Maroon
  3. Plum
  4. Coral
  5. Lilac
  6. Baby pink
  7. Cream

Thank you guys!!!

Gah! I should have said I don't like navy trousers that much.
AND how could I forget - what SHOES?????

I tend to just put on black slip on shoes, black trousers and whatever coloured top comes to hand but now I'm scared I've been making a fashion faux pas by wearing eg baby pink plus black.

(I'm weirdly ok about knowing whether silver or gold matches a particular combo)

All about from the camel one in my opinion would like better with brown trousers

I would say that grey would go better with all of those except the camel.

I would say black with them all but free with all except camel. Do trousers come in any other colour than black?

I think black trousers + coloured top is standard office-wear for a lot of women. Grey would look nicer with all of those bar the camel, and I actually think navy is better with camel, baby pink, cream and lilac.

I think I am probably quite a different style, as I am not a fan of pastels at all, so if I was wearing plain black trousers I would only wear them with a strong colour on top (eg orange) or something patterned (stripes or leopard print). In terms of shoes, a typical work outfit for me would be wide-legged, cropped black trousers with brogues or black Stan Smiths. I wear fishnet or crocheted tights under the trousers to close up the gap while it’s cold.

Black with all of those colours. Dark grey could look ok with camel but not light grey and camel. Grey with all the other colours too.
