Please help my hair! Tips needed for straw-like coloured hair

My fairly coarse, curly/Frizzy hair looks awful! It's dyed a coppery colour as highlights (lowlights?) all over. I've also been using tongs recently to make it look more 'done' as promotion at work means the wurzel gummige look doesn't quite cut it any more.
I have split ends and tired looking hair and it's like straw (more wurzel than ever!) and my 7 year old helpfully commented the other day on how dry it looked.
What do I do?! Please tell me how I can restore it to its former glory!!

The first thing to do is get a decent haircut and get rid of the split ends. Then once a week use a decent treatment conditioner. Or coconut oil is good. Superdrug do a cheap version. Put it on the ends of your hair and leave over night if you can. Works wonders.

The Ogx coconut water shampoo and conditioner really helped my straw hair after I had it highlighted. Mine’s not curly, though - but it is very fine and damages easily.

The redken extreme range is fab for dry and treated hair.
Mine is bleached to within an inch of its life but with the redken it stays soft and no split ends.

Their silver (purple) shampoo is great too for removing yellow tones.
You only need to use it once a week

Yes you must have the dry and split ends cut off immediately - anything else you put on those ends is a completely waste of money. Get a good haircut and that will solve most of your problems. Ask your hairdresser for recommendations on what shampoo/cons are best for your hair at that stage.

And my new discovery, which is a joy on my platinum hair, is RedKen One United 25 - it turned my hair to silk.

Someone on S&B recommended Bleach Reincarnation Mask 200ml.It is excellent.
I struggle to find it in Boots stores but order for collection.

I'd cut as much as you are comfortable with.

Then weekly protein treatments, followed my moisturising treatment, argan oil is great to put in your ends when damp as a leave in conditioner.

You can also do weekly hot oil treatment (leave overnight if possible).

I would stay away from any heat if you can, if not then use heat protectant.
