The areseholes who run the hospital I work in have decided that I can no longer have a parking permit. So I have to get the bus to work. 2 buses in fact. So I need a decent bag - every situation can be turned into a purchasing opportunity if you try hard enough
I like the look of the Kipling medium backpacks but they’re around £100, I was hoping to only pay around £40! Has anyone seen anything that will hold my lunch, my travel mug, phone, purse, ridiculously heavy phone charger things (about the same size as my large phone), headphones and the other various bits that I appear to need.
At present I have a crappy New Look backpack which bites into my shoulders and generally isn’t up to the job.
Any ideas wise ones?

is this the one? It's in the sale now.

Have a look in tk maax. I got a gorgeous leather one in there for £30. I think it was actually in the men's section but the ladies had loads of Rick sacks as well.

My local TK max has loads of rucksacks at the minute, some kipling but also Gola which are a similar weight.

That is very nice. Thank you. I want a zip top though. Other than that it’s pretty perfect :)

TK Maxx did have some when I was last looking for a backpack but I found this company and got this, very good quality, did take a little while to arrive but worth it for the price

Lots of good bargains around at the moment (might have bought myself 3 bags for Xmas!!) Blush

Kipling has outlet shops which sells rucksacks at around the price you are looking for, they also sell online and have a sale section.

I have a kipling seoul but it might be a bit big for your needs- big enough for my laptop and work stuff. Start from around £50 on Amazon, they do a smaller version too. Worth the extra as they are so well organised and comfy.

I have a Mia Tui backpack for work (similarly I have to walk) and it has been the best bag I have ever had for work. I have the purple swirl one. They have a special offer on at the moment too.

I really like that Mia Tui bag. Thank you! I think that’s the one

I noticed in the sale section they have a couple of other colourways for £22. Glad to help!

I got a lovely one from cath k in the sale:

www.cathkidston.com/cath-kidston/crescent-rose-buckle-backpack-1023165

Lovely size - not so big you'll end up doing yourself a mischief, lots of pockets and I love that it has a zipped pocket that lies against your back so no chance of your valuables being thieved.

I can fit everything I need for work in there, basically the same as you but adding my laptop and some papers.
