Date night with my skin!

I'm really bad at looking after my skin. I moisturise and wash daily but that's about it. There's no point promising myself that I'll do more! However, I enjoy treating my skin once a week by sitting on the sofa, popping the tele on and putting creams on face, body and feet. Any advise? What products should I use? Ta x

I would probably benefit from doing this too! I use face wash twice a day and moisturise on a morning.
I've got terrible acne at the moment, TTC and taking pregnacare conceive which hopefully will help. I'll wait here also for someone to give some good advice 😊

littlem133 You can get silicon sock masks for your feet and hands which last for about 12-15 uses. They have moisturiser in them so you just need to pop them on for 10 minutes or so while relaxing with a book or magazine or listening to music or watching TV.

An alternative would be to buy some cotton gloves and socks (places like The Body Shop sell them) and use them in combination with your favourite moisturiser. The Palmers cocoa butter range is really nice.

For your face, what kind of skin do you have?

Thank you! I do on occasion put creams on my feet and put my socks on but never my hands. I think I have dry face skin.

No. 7 at Boots has a good face mask; it's the Protect and Perfect one in a pump action pot. Put it on clean skin and leave for at least 10 minutes to sink in (you can leave for longer) then clean off gently with lukewarm water and a face cloth. Follow up with your favourite moisturiser.

That sounds good, I've got oily skin at the moment but usually it's dry. Any recommendations?

LockedOutOfMN · 03/01/2018 19:06

SJS12 Maybe get a mask from Sephora? Clay is good for oily skin but not drying (if that makes sense). They have some great Korean ones...ask the staff in store to advise you.

Do you mean this serum?

Great @LockedOutOfMN thank you I'll give it a go 😊

littlem133 · 04/01/2018 07:12

Can anyone recommend a weekly face mask?

Sorry I meant this mask (it's not the protect and perfect range but it is no. 7). Good for dry skin:

That looks great. Thanks so much. I've got some boots points I've been saving up 😜
