i have just received it and quite like it but it's very hippy \link{https://www.johnlewis.com/and-or-becca-embroidered-short-sleeve-dress-white/p3160277\here}

I like it but then I am fan of And/or and have a few tops similar to the top half of the dress

TunaSushi · 02/01/2018 21:13

I like it too.

MoveOnTheCards · 02/01/2018 21:16

I can’t get the link to work?

I like it , but it's very much a summer dress

Fresta · 02/01/2018 23:03

I tried that dress on in the summer. I didn't like it- it made me look frumpy, but it might look great on you. It looked lovely on the hanger.

ScarlettDarling · 03/01/2018 13:20

It's a bit nothingy. Totally inoffensive but not inspiring either. Keep it if you like it and it's comfy. Definitely one for the summer though.

SparklyLights · 03/01/2018 17:42

I love it, it's a great spring/summer dress with the half sleeves, you can dress it with tan sandals or gold sandals or possibly tan ankle boots, it'll look great with a denim jacket, it's good for lots of occasions... what's not to love... sad I didn't spot this when it was in my size! Grin

Wishingandwaiting · 03/01/2018 17:45

Like it but then it’s to my taste

BusterGonad · 03/01/2018 17:46

I like it, I'm having the same dilemma with this velvet one, it feels very boho to me! But somehow I can't bring myself to return it!

what do you think of this dress?
SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 03/01/2018 17:53

It doesn't know what it wants to be...not boho enough to be boho, maybe a bit frumpy, length at odds with the style...it's alright though.

I honestly think it might be a bit hard to make it look anything other than 'alright.' I'd much prefer just the top bit with jeans helpful Grin

Undercoverbanana · 03/01/2018 17:53

Not my thing at all. I like strong colours and straight lines with no dangly bits or fancy arms/shoulders. It would be that colour for about 2 minutes on me.

No objections on anyone else though. Nothing wrong with hippy.
