Help with skincare regime

Hi Ladies,

I'm hoping you can help me with a skincare routine. At the moment, I have a soap and glory exfoliator that I use in the shower twice a week but that's it!

I'm not even completely sure of my skin type, I get a dry forehead and t zone so would that be combination? I have saved up about £50 of boots points and wonder if any of you ladies can give me any tips of what I'm looking for or any suggestions of what to use.

In case it helps, I'm nearly 35, need something simple and easy to remember as am a SAHM to an active 18 month old and am expecting DC2 in May.

Dry T zone and forehead would make your skin dry! Maybe exfoliate your face just once a week and get yourself a cream cleanser and cotton wool pads, as well as an eye cream and Day and night cream aimed at dry or dry to normal skin. I love oils but if you are new to this you might want just the basics for now!
I use baby lotion as a cleanser, maybe try boots No7 3 for 2 on skincare and ask one of the sales staff to direct you to the appropriate creams.

How do you remove makeup? What do you use to wash your face each day?

I'd keep it simple and hot cloth cleanse each night (the boots no 7 one is fab and lasts ages, even better than the Liz earle!) and buy the Superdrug vitamin e skincare range, maybe the serum and night moisturiser and eye cream. I don't personally moisturise in the morning just before bed. And in the shower each morning use a gentle cleaner like the neutrogena orange tubes. Daily.
