Discontinued Borgeois eyeliner! Help!

Fir years I’ve used the Borgeois Liner Stylo. Best eyeliner ever. It’s a twisty up one in brown and I love it. So typically the bastards have discontinued it. I don’t suppose anyone has one languishing in a drawer that they don’t want? Or have seen them in their local boots or Superdrug?? Nothing is as good!!

With the greatest of respect for beauty favourites... discontinued items are your chance to find something new.

I used to mourn the discontinuation of favourites until I realised there were and are always alternatives, or even a new colour/way of doing it.

If I hadn't been forced to drop some of my faves I'd still be wearing the same face of makeup since my 20s.

Seriously. Let it go. You don't need anyone's old eyeliners. At some point they will also run out. Go to a massive beauty counter store and find something the same but different, you won't regret it!

I think it is, Jesus. Sometimes different inputs helps us move on to new things, or at least opens our minds to it.

Leicester - not saying that to you. It was in response to another poster doing the and "helpful". My response was sympathetic as one beauty fan to another but I've learned that sometimes if you look for something new you can find something even better.

I've seen far less helpful responses on quite serious life matters here where people tear into the OP and nobody does the "helpful" to help defend the OP. Felt like that was an overreaction to both my suggestion and the topic matter. My "perspective" response was not directed at you!

I am also gutted by the disappearance of Liner Stylo. Bought the new (?) Ombré Smoky as a replacement but it’s much softer and smudges very easily. I am working single mum and time poor so when a favourite product is discontinued I don’t see it as an opportunity to try something new but a big fat PITA!

If we all stuck with our favourites we would all still be wearing Heather Shimmer....
And if you're wearing the exact same make up that you were wearing 20 years ago that isn't generally a good thing.
Sometimes we need a shove to change.
But I also have to say that when a favourite goes the panic!! I've been there. And I love Bourgeois eyeliners too.

If you do decide to try something new then I highly recommend mac modern twist kajal liner. I prefer a twist up liner, having grown up on the Rimmel one (which is also still available - and I’m tempted to re try now I’ve googled it!). I bought the mac one for my wedding as a treat and I really think it’s excellent.
