Has anyone gone back to colouring their hair after being grey for a while?

I've been my natural colour for over two years. Brown with white at the front and scattered grey throughout. I lloved the freedom of it, but having had it cut short while travelling, I now have a 2 month grown out pixie-mullet and feel really OLD and drab. I'm also turning 50 in a couple of days!

I'm thinking of giving up 'going grey' as it isn't the sparkly white I hoped for, but have no idea what to ask for...I don't want my olddark brown back but don't think I suit a blonde either!

I'm also growing it again, and need to look human by the end of summer when my DD1 gets married!

I went to a hairdresser and embraced my inner blonde.

You can try different hairstyles and colours on an app?

There are lots of types of blonde. Even silver (!?)

Hairprint.

Have a look on google. (I haven't used but am thinking about it).

I've done it twice. The first time I had it bleached white blond and I absolutely loved it, apart from the expense, time and discomfort of getting it done. I eventually grew it out (I have cropped hair so it didn't take too long).

Then I got bored and went for some colour again. This time it was highlights with a pale ash brown colour over them. Everyone else loved this but I hated it - it looked so ordinary. Now growing that out - atm have mostly grey with brown tips, which DH (kindly?) says looks like some kind of animal fur.

I expect I'll get bored again and try something else.

Yes. I went brown, purple, red. Hate it now. Now growing out the colour the embrace the grey.
