I’m looking for a nice creamy neutral- does anyone have any favourites?
I don’t want a particularly expensive one as l use a primer and it tends to help it stay very nicely.
Thank you 😊

Kiko do some eyeshadow sticks which I really like and they're fairly cheap

omBreROSE · 01/01/2018 19:53

Thank you!
I will take a look!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo - they're really lovely. Beautiful texture and last a long time.

I use MAC paint pot in 'Painterly'. Easy to apply with fingertip and last for AGES! I've tried lots of other cream eyeshadows in the past and found they just clump or make my eyelids greasy. Think I paid £16 for the Painterly and worth every penny in my eyes as I wear it everyday and then use it as a primer when I want to do a more going out/dramatic look with eyeshadows on top xx

Thank you Twigglet and Blue -will check those two!

Rosie for Autograph at M&S and Beauty Pie are both excellent. (I am an eyeshadow stick obsessive.) Both compare very favourably with By Terry and Bobbi Brown sticks and glide on more smoothly than the Kiko ones.

I find maybelline colour tattoo to be too dry. The max factor xcess shine is easier to use.

BluebellGal · 02/01/2018 10:39

Laura mercier are the best quality- stay put all day and high pigmentation of colour

By Terry Blackstar Ombré are my No1 but £££ I also have Rosie for Autograph eyeshadow sticks which are a complete knock off of By Terry and I also love them too. They are £12.50 and worth every penny.

Thank you Buster

No probs omBre believe me they are my new obsession! They give you the perfect look with minimal fuss. I've not used a powder eyeshadow since buying these bad boys!

The best cream sticks I have ever used for colour and formula are the Laura Mercier ones but they cost £££. No 7 and Kiko are good too though.

bingohandjob · 03/01/2018 13:42

Absolute favourite are Laura Mercier Eye Caviar Sticks - they do not budge or crease. I tried the M&S Autograph version - they shift and crease terribly for me.

Maybelline Tattoo and Revlon Colorstay very good.

weetabix07 · 06/01/2018 14:38

Thanks for the Laura m recommendations - bought one and I think I'm a convert now.

thethoughtfox · 06/01/2018 15:27

I just bough a super cheap nude palette from Make Up Revolution for £4 from Superdrug. There are some lovely creamy ones including one which is the perfect skinned nude and they stay on all day and don't crease - and my eyelids are oily!

lindyloo57 · 06/01/2018 17:56

i have yet to find a cream eye shadow that does not crease on me, i must try some of these out.

Commuterface · 07/01/2018 09:25

lindy the Laura Mercia caviar sticks don’t crease on me and I have oily eyelids. I tend to use an eye primer though. I also find the Clinique chubby eye sticks good.

BluebellGal · 07/01/2018 09:34

Same as pp - I use urban decay primer then LM caviar stick. None of it budges til I take it off

Housewife2010 · 09/01/2018 04:58

A touch of pressed eyeshadow on top of cream eyeshadow aids longevity.

Another vote for Mac Painterly.

LunaTheCat · 22/03/2018 19:45

Whatever you do stay away from the Bobbi Brown ones - I have had 4 and 3 of those the casing broke when I put in my makeup bag - and I am very careful. Crap quality.
Someone told me that Bobbi Brown had been sold to another company and they have noticed real decrease in quality.
