Sounds like you’re pulling them up too high? Is a high waisted one better?

Bluntness100 · 01/01/2018 18:51

Your trousers are far too small and pulled up too high if you're getting this problem.

RoderickRules · 01/01/2018 19:00

Are you an apple shape?

RavingRoo · 01/01/2018 19:02

Sounds like they are two small. Try a 14

biffyboom · 01/01/2018 19:02

I hear you op! Unless it's really thick material like heavy denim, the lips of shame are on show. I like long tops.

DragonsLiveForever · 01/01/2018 19:04

They are too small. You need a bigger size if they are doing this

Jeannie78 · 01/01/2018 19:06

Yes, try a bigger size.

missjoanie · 01/01/2018 19:35

Not necessarily too small; could be the distance between waist and crotch. Even styles labelled ‘highwaisted’ can be too short a rise. For example, Next Lift, Slim and Shape give me the same problem whereas Topshop Jonis are a bit better.

Lucked · 01/01/2018 19:41

Sounds like the hip waist ratio is wrong, so to fit on the waist they are stretched at the crotch due to thighs and hips. My advise is to try on lots of style in lots of shops

Ummmmgogo · 01/01/2018 19:41

I think a 14 wouldn't do this. but if you don't want to buy a 14 you could buy www.smoothgroovecommunity.com

it's a camel toe preventer!

Ummmmgogo · 01/01/2018 19:45

meanwhile other people are paying money to get this look 😂😂😂

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 01/01/2018 19:47

Nothing can be as bad as some Adidas gym leggings I have. Positively gynacological!!

But yes I find this with some jegging type jeans I have too.

(Also a size 12)

Sheeeesh · 01/01/2018 20:17

Are you apple shaped? Appears to be more of an issue if you are.

Christmastree43 · 01/01/2018 20:23

I have this problem, it’s almost thrush inducing Blush I think I get it as am always pulling my jeans up too high... I don’t like the high waisted jeans as find them horribly unflattering on the bum, but hate the feeling of jeans coming below my waist too!!

To be honest I very rarely wear jeans as find them unflattering and uncomfortable and totally can’t be arsed to put in the legwork to find the ‘perfect pair’

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 01/01/2018 20:25

Those saying they're to small, very possibly not. I have this issue. The jeans I wear are actually a little to big, the size smaller is to tight but this size is baggy around my waist. They're high waisted too, I love them but yep, camel toe. I saw a tip about using a pantyliner, must try it

mamamalt · 01/01/2018 20:26

Go to a Levi’s shop and get them to measure you. They have a range of ‘curves’ and the jeans are cut to fit better. I found them brilliant and then knew the size to buy whenever I saw them on offer etc.
I lost weight after DC and not get this problem slightly with one pair where they are tighter at the front and baggy at the back so I am going to go back and get done again.
I agree with PP it’s not necessarily that they are too small just ill fitting.

bitofabelly · 03/01/2018 19:53

Yes I am an apple and have the dreaded over hang from csection. Ðefo don't need a bigger size...don't like low waisted...hmmm

It's the apple thing, I've read it loads on here about that shape giving a camel toe in jeans .

RoderickRules · 03/01/2018 22:08

Apples look nice in tailored tapered trousers. New Look has some nice ones for apples. I think you have to go with a bit of structure OP.
Maybe with a turn up to emphasise the nice ankle shape.
Try structured shifts, princess cut seams.

Jeans wise, go for jeggings or jean-leggings with a high rise you can hoik over your middle.

Hard to dress an apple, I do sympathise.
