Best running / sports bra

Can anyone recommend a good sports bra please? I do a lot of running and not sure my H&M bras are the best. Thankyou!

Aldi when they do their next fitness special buy thing.

All the female runners I know use them and I use them too. Having said that none of us are well endowed. I am at the bustier end of the scale and I am a C cup.

Neonyellow · 31/12/2017 20:25

Thanks unescorted. Will check that out. Fortunately I’m not well endowed either!

Shock absorber is the only brand I'll use (but I need lots of support!)

Unescorted · 31/12/2017 20:32

The things to look for are no seams in the arm area (goes for vests / tops as well) so they don't chafe under the arms. No detail (lace, , embroidery, seam) in the nipple area. Good wide straps and elastic. Flat seams... everywhere.
Anything that sticks out will rub. Then you get sweat in it and you have to take time off while it heals..... All very disheartening.

Freshprincess · 31/12/2017 20:37

Shock absorber for me too.

dementedpixie · 31/12/2017 20:40

Panache ultimate underwired is good. I wear 36GG

totallyliterally · 31/12/2017 20:41

Another vote for panache sports bra. I've tried many and the only one that is comfortable and actually stops them moving.

VinoEsmeralda · 31/12/2017 20:42

Panache 32e, best ever!

museumum · 31/12/2017 20:44

Shockabsorber ultimate Run is an amazing bra!

Bumblina · 31/12/2017 20:46

Shock absorber. I go on Wiggle.com as there's usually a discount

QuentinSummers · 31/12/2017 20:46

Panache..i can't wear racer back for some reason, the panache is like a normal bra and it's so comfortable

MustRememberTheLInFingerling · 31/12/2017 20:49

The panache wearers - do you have the wired or non wired please?

I’m a 38Gish and doing C25K (on week 5). I have 2 ancient Royce sports bras that don’t really fit anymore (I’ve had 2dc since I got them) but are better than nothing!

I’ve just been looking on bravissimo but we don’t have one anywhere near for me to visit and try on though.

Freshprincess · 31/12/2017 20:51

I was fitted in John Lewis for mine.

dementedpixie · 31/12/2017 20:52

I wear wired. You can make them racer back too or leave them as normal straps

MustRememberTheLInFingerling · 31/12/2017 21:03

No John Lewis either - M&S or Debenhams only as far as I know. The downside of living in West Cornwall Sad but I guess there may be something in Plymouth...

VinoEsmeralda · 31/12/2017 21:06

Mine is wired. I bought it when i finished c25k and got hooked on running😁

dementedpixie · 31/12/2017 21:07

I bought mine online from boobydoo

Fourfantasticfrogs · 31/12/2017 21:11

Triumph triaction are great. I'm a D cup and even light bounce support does me well trimming so if you're smaller will probably be perfect. Proper clasp at back which is good rather than pulling over head and squishing boobs into the cups! Also had shock absorber but can come up small and also can be tight on rib cage.

chutneypig · 31/12/2017 21:12

Shock Absorber ultimate run are my go to sports bras too, ordered two more yesterday. The only other ones I’ve really got on with were from Lidl - worn so much they’re the ones I’m replacing. Very comfy but I’ve not seen the same style since I got them. Other bras I’ve had make me feel like I can’t breathe.

Neonyellow · 31/12/2017 21:13

Thanks so much everyone ! Lots to look into.

Tesco do a good one. It's black with sort of white edging. £16.00. I wear 32E so need support and a close fit.

QuentinSummers · 31/12/2017 21:15

Wired panache

ArkAtEee · 31/12/2017 23:32

Shock absorber for me. I also wear a vest top with built in support on top. I am a DD cup though.

Twitchingdog · 01/01/2018 01:13

For big boobs . Simply be have loads some on offer.

dolfinne · 01/01/2018 10:32

shock absorber are great but can be pricey, Decathlon have a great range depending on how much support you need

there is a brand sold on amazon which is similar to Shock absorber but cheaper
