Anyone made a "New Year New Hair " resolution for 2018?

I have been guilty all my life of having my hair the same for years, recently I had the chop and for 2018 I am determined to do something different again. I fancy being wild and having it bleached white blonde and cut even shorter to a funky Annie Lennox look.....
Anyone else having similar thoughts?

I had the 'bored with my hair what will I do'phase a couple of years back, had a crop then went lighter (over a period of time though - used the next level in the colour chart , did hlighlights )
The advantages are - your very short hair oesn't really suffer because you keep cutting ( I was dyeing it very 3 weeks and having it cut every 5 weeks)
Using home dye didn't cost much, more the time to commit.

On the disadvantage side - it looks cack if you go too long between colouring, those roots spring up Grin
You need to rethink make-up / clothes colours.

It can get a bit cotton wool like.

I went from dye to henna to letting it grow out (grey-er) to semi-p dye.
I cannot grow my hair , it looks wild and unkempt. The regrowth isn't bad, I don't get the horrible roots now .

What's your natural colour if you're thinking of Aniie Lennox blonde?

Hi, I am naturally darkish, so it will be a change!
Anyone else up for a restyle for 2018?

It's an essay, sorry Blush :

I had my shoulder blade length hair cut into a pixie and lightened up two years ago. I've been growing out it since then and even with a few trims it's now shoulder length again.

a week ago I was bored with my (box dyed) super dark hair and used a colour stripper - it turned a light soft peach colour - and I've stuck a light ash brown on it. It's inoffensive. My 2018 plan is to grow out the dye...I'm so grey...and when the natural colour reaches chin length I'll lopp it off. I've tried in the past but never actually managed it.

Yep. I had my hair into a long bob (shoulder length, longer in the front, even at the back), then had the bloody amazing idea to change hairdressers, she ruined my bob, now a bit shorter in the front. My hair is healthy though now, so I am waiting for it to grow and get my lovely cut back. Not really a resolution, more like "pls grow, pls grow"!
