I have grey hair and get my hair coloured dark brown which is my natural colour. I went to a salon for colouring and had no issue and continued having it done there. I think they coloured my hair five times. I left because I was unhappy with the way they cut my hair and also wanted a salon closer to home. I found one who is trying to rectify the bad hair cut and I was happy so asked them to colour my hair and have now been left with an itchy scalp and that is after I had the patch test done with no issues. I cannot return to have my hair coloured at the old salon and am too worried about this new salon because of what has happened although I am more than happy with the way they are now cutting my hair.
By the way the old salon is not a trendy modern salon. It is a family owed and run salon and I would say that 90% of the clients that go there are elderly women who just have a shampoo and curlers and a trim. I have never seen any men or boys there and only seen one child
