Help. Acrylic nails (by accident) and gel polish

To cit a long story short I have accidentally had acrylic overlays done when I went to have gel polish.

They look amazing but i dont want acrylic nails i want just gel polish.

Can I get them completely removed next time and go back to gel polish on my natural nails?

Of course you can! Why wouldn't you be able to?

Your nails might be a bit damaged/weak once the acrylic comes off, mind.

Yes you can!

I'm just not sure what / how they'll do it. I'm assuming they'll soak the whole lot off and my nails will be weak and bendy.

I'm so pissed off that they put acrylic on them when I specifically asked for gel polish on natural nails. I didn't realise that's what they were doing until it was too late and I can over all British!

Yes, they’ll soak them off. They might be weak for a bit but they’ll recover.
If you have any cuticle oil, use that in the meantime.

Biotin supplements have strengthened my nails no end, and using cuticle oil every night before bed helps, too. Try getting into the habit of both so that your nails won't be too soft, and hopefully one lot of acrylics won't have done too much damage.

Every nail coating is acrylic based.

UPDATE. The nail salon soaked them off for free and I have gone back to the local one which has put gel polish on for me and nails aren't too damaged! Thanks for your help all.
