14 year old dd - hair ideas?

Dd has never been very interested in her hair - but has finally shown some interest in getting her hair cut and coloured!!!! She currently has long straight (boob length) light brown hair - virtually one length all way round. Any ideas??

Probably give it a good trim but keep long layers to give some movement, and face-framing layers - then a blonde balayage throughout.

I wouldn't encourage her to start messing with the colour tbh, it's expensive and bad enough when you're older and have to colour it!

I know I know (I haven't coloured mine in years! ). But it's the first time she's shown any interest, so I'm excited!
