Help me choose some converse

I'm tired of buying cheap lookalikes that fall apart in a couple of months - so I want to buy some converse. Which are your favourites?

I'm torn between a canvas and a leather pair:

But I also like the idea of coloured ones fickle.

I don't really like the dainty ones, they're so flimsy looking.

My favourite are my pink pair. Or possibly my burgundy pair. Then again I like my grey pair

I adore the suede ones in either grey or dark red but they're rather pricey.

I only wear dainty’s! Anything bigger looks clumpy on my size 3 feet. I love the plain white ones :)

Check usc website, I picked up two pairs of white dainty converse (one with the red and blue thin stripe around the rubber sole, another all white with copper shoelace metal holes) for £25 each

I have worn converse for over 30 years, but got my first pair of leather ones for Xmas and I love them big time! White leather with rose gold eyelets. Soooo comfortable.

Leather for sure.

I love the first pair. I want them. But I think I would get upset at how quickly they got dirty.

The second pair are more practical.

My white 'Converse' are the Primark version. I just can't justify the money on actual Converse in WHITE. They'll be filthy just as quick as the Primark ones. I don't wear them daily so not too concerned about the quality but mine have been fine and I have a red and black pair too.

That's a lot of money for a pair of plimsolls.....

I have blue suede ones that I love. I also have sequinned ones which are surprisingly practical. Silver shoes go with everything!

I have white canvas ones which get worn to death - especially now DD is the same shoe size and keeps stealing them!

I just bought a pair in tan leather which I love. Wearing them with checked trousers.

This might not help, but I love me some converse, especially custom ones, and have just got some new ones for Christmas 😁

I've been wearing navy canvas ones for a few years (new pair each year as they don't last me wearing them daily). This Christmas I got the grey ones. Although they look a bit more khaki. The worst thing is wearing them until they look a bit worn can't stand them new with bright white toe and soles etc

I don't like the dainty or leather ones personally.

I've got some converse-alike wedges. Bloody love them.

They last absolutely years, get some. I have some charcoal grey ones which are a versatile colour. My favourites are a pewter leather pair. They're lovely and go with everything.
I have my eye on a pale tan suede pair in schuh.
