Exciting Friday night S&B thread: alternatives to cardigans

I mainly wear dresses of trousers with short sleeve blouses at work and tend to chuck on a black or grey cardigan to keep myself warm.

I want to smarten up a bit but wearing a suit jacket is too restricting (have to move around a lot at work and also don’t want to be too stiff/formal). Any ideas or am I doomed to wear my unsexy cardigans forever?!

Sorry I don’t have the answer but am wondering this myself! Have been looking for cashmere cardies to at least make them better quality but so expensive.

I wear decent quality plain v-neck jumpers over my work shirts.

What about a cardigan blazer? As in, a cardigan in a thick fabric which is shaped like a blazer (I'm sure I've seen these)

Poncho? I love them 😍

I am a cardi fan too. How formal is your office? Could you go a brighter colour cardi or a bright scarf?

Sweater?

There was a thread on this not so long ago...

I think it gives loads of suggestions to what you are looking for

A cardigan blazer? If this doesn’t already exist I’m going to invent it!

I work in a GP practice so a poncho is probably out incase it dips in body fluid etc Confused
