Chemical peel for bad skin

Has anyone had one? Im so down aboit my skin, ive tried everything and this is the last resort, a chemical peel to help get rid of pores and uneven skin

I always promised myself a phenol face peel if I aged badly. They are seriously hardcore but so effective.

I saw a woman on tv have one years ago & she'd obviously been a stunner but had sunbathed & had very pale blonde colouring. It was a total transformation. The downtime was horrific though. Her Dh had to do everything with the kids like school run etc because she couldn't have gone outside looking that.

Chemical peel has made my pores larger, could be as I only got it done once. Once was enough for me, I felt it's ruined my skin and that was nearly 2 years ago.
