What shoes do you wear to work?

I'm returning to work after ages being a SAHM. I'm a bit worried I'm looking for the holy grail. I want something reasonably comfortable, preferably goes with most things and ADDS to my outfit, rather than just being dull on the ends of my feet.

I am self employed so don't need to conform massively, but do need to be convincingly probably business casual when I am networking etc.

What are your favourite work shoes with a bit of interest?

I also wear stan Smiths but I work in a casual office

Flat Chelsea boots, biker boots, snakeskin brogues, and per banana Stan Smiths - I’m a lecturer in a creative area.

When it’s cold I wear pointy toe flat black ankle boots
Really cold and has to be same but knee length

Thanks everyone, that's exactly what i wanted to see! I'm thinking maybe a nice pair of ankle boots which I keep only for smart (and don't ruin like the ankle boots I already have). Then I'll need to find something for summer. Do you think I can do a kind of dark brown boot or beige or something like that with both navy and black trousers?
