Mens striped sweater top?

My 3yo DS has a lovely blue and white striped top. Picture below. I would like to find something similar for myself as I've decided my life as a man is too full of dull boring dark colours.

I've done some preliminary research so I know what to search for, as "striped sweater" isn't narrowing things down enough. But I don't know enough about the proper names of stripe patterns. I've discovered the "breton" stripe, but that is a thicker white and then thinner blue line. I want something with fairly thick stripes both the same size.

Also am I correct in thinking that this kind of top that my DS is wearing - with elasticated cuffs and waist, and with a crew neck - is referred to as a "sweater"?

This is my first foray into S&B so excuse my ignorance!

TIA.

Try these....

bretonshirt.com

I’ve ordered from them before. Had a chorus of the Howard’s Way theme tune hummed at me when I first wore it but,I loved it. I thought it looked more Gallic than Ken Masters Smile

Breton top/sweater/sweatshirt is where I would start.

white stuff

Jack Wills

Lots of men’s long sleeve t-shirts in this style

Thanks, I'm liking the Breton Meridian in that first link. And the Jack Wills one looks almost perfect, apart from the silly little logo on the front.

DS's looks cotton. If that's what you want it's not a sweater, it's more of a sweatshirt.

Sweaters/jumpers are wool or wool based

Ah, an interesting distinction that I never realised. A sweatshirt is what I'm looking for then. Thanks
