Take zero bottles into the shower? Soap recommendations thread

Last year, following a recommendation on another thread, I ditched shower gel, which I’d been using for more than 30 years, and started using soap again.

As a result, I stay fresher all day and my deodorant is effective. I know there were lots of others who switched to soap too.

I’d like lovely soap recommendations, for hands and body. As our liquid soap dispensers run out, around the house, we’ll be switching to soap too, for Blue Planet inspired reasons.

So far, I’m a big fan of Karma soap from Lush (and their shampoo and conditioner bars). I also like Bronnley lemon and neroli soap, that’s shaped like a lemon.

I’m still fairly new to the world of soaps and solid shampoos so I’d appreciate other recommendations.

If you can get to a lush store pretty soonish then I recommend trying to pick up some of the seasonal soaps that are 50% off. They tend to be the last things to sell out in the sale. Snow cloud, hidden mountain and Christmas citrus are gorgeous. As is golden pear but is be surprised if they had any of that left.

Faith in Nature lavender soap - they sell it in our local Oxfam shop, also the whole food shop & from Ocado.

Lush Salted Caramel. It smells amazing.
