Alternative to Modalu Pippa Handbag

Last year I bought a large Modalu Pippa bag - I love the size and design but I find it too heavy and stiff and as a result Ive only used it a couple of times.
I'm going to stick it on Ebay and buy myself something else - at the moment I'm considering a Coach Edie - does anyone have any other suggestions?

I have a couple of Longchamp bags (the Penelope and Le Pliage (Nylon)) - love them
both.

I also have a year old Strathberry that is a used a couple of times a week (or was until MM was photographed with one people assume I've jumped on the bandwagon!!!) - it is a fab bag keeps it shape but is not stiff.

Thank you - I'll have a look at them.

Ideally I'd like leather but am happy to look at alternatives

DP has been down to London today and has bought me a gorgeous teal leather hobo from Osprey of London - so soft and squishy! Worth checking them Smile

I sold my Modalu Pippa for the same reason.

I've got a Coach Prairie satchel which is very light, which I love and the Chelsea bag too.

I don't like hobo styles because everything gets lost in a heap at the bottom.

Coach have fab sales- got my Prairie half price but you might be a bit too late now for the best selection.

Thank you

@BellBookandCandle - that sounds lovely - I shall have a look at those now.

@PollyPerky - the Prairie looks quite structured, is the leather fairly soft?

The Prairie is very soft. It's totally different to the Modalu one.

I bought mine online for £145 last year - in a mid blue shade. If you are quick they have some in the sale- or did- and there will be more in the sale in June. They sell current season's colours half price.

Thank you.

I so wanted to love the Modalu but when I actually used it I just found it so heavy and stiff that it ended up going back into my wardrobe and staying there.

I like my modalu. It is just the right size for my work laptop so the stiffness suits me.
