So (almost) nothing I have found and enjoyed or not this year has been without a MN review, still I though it would be interesting to see what you have discovered/ rediscovered/ re-purposed this year.

Hits for me:
L'oreal Infallible Matt 24 hour foundation has been great-good colour match, is matt, stays put and doesn't oxidise.
I've rediscovered Nivea tinted moisturiser, cheap and a good colour match for me.
Max Factor creme puff blusher in lavish mauve, I'll try other colours in due course
The Body Shop sunscreen works well for both me and DH
The Body Shop's bronzer in it's lightest shade
The Ordinary's glycolic acid is fab and you get a big bottle for not a lot of £.
Aldi's hot cloth cleanser, I don't have sensitive skin so I like most cleansers I try, but I do like this one as the scent is similar to Liz Earle.
I have re-purposed Maybelline color tattoo eye shadow in taupe on my eyebrows-just enough to give a bit of extra colour.

Misses have been:
The Ordinary's foundation-too yellow for my complexion.
Various lip products (I really shouldn't buy online, especially when I have PMT)

happy discoveries - The Ordinary Resveratrol and Ferulic

By Terry Stylo
Nars Via Appia eyeliner

Misses - Clinique Even better foundation, it just won't blend in.

Some of the hits:

The Ordinary foundation both formulas- colour is spot on for me and I love the formula.

The ordinary skincare - argireline, vitamin c 23% plus HA, caffeine solution, natural moisturising factors.

Body shop camomile cleanser - much recommended on here and justifiably so

Marks and Spencer Formula HA hot cloth cleanser

Waitrose Pure range (the pink range) - it's all fab, particularly the night cream and hot cloth cleanser

Body shop oils of life eye cream gel

Smashbox liquid foundation, stays put forever

Nyx total drop control foundation

Some misses-

The whole Lottie London range - total waste of money

Body shop fresh nude foundation - shade range wasn't great

Fenty Beauty - so much hype, was disappointed with everything I bought except the translucent powder
