Jewellery/necklace roll or similar for travel

I travel quite often, and usually bring jewellery, including 2-3 necklaces. (Nothing expensive!) However they always get tangled in transit. I have tried various tips such as storing them in straws, but they haven't worked. What I'd really like is some kind of lovely travel jewellery case or roll. But of the ones I've found on line, I still can't work out if they'd stop my necklaces from tangling!

For example, I've seen this www.oliverbonas.com/accessories/nellie-travel-long-jewellery-box-50098 but I can't work out where I am supposed to put necklaces. Any ideas?

When I travel I have a pill container - those with small plastic squares and put earrings and necklaces in. I would love a jewellery roll but hvaen’t been able to find.

The necklaces are supposed to loop to the sausage in the lid. I can’t see that will stop them tangling though.
I have a jewellery roll and, tbh, even that’s not great for travelling. Mum made it for me 😄 though, somthats nice.

If you travel far and have a lot of necklaces, one trick is to feed one ‘side’ of a chain into a drinking straw. Then fasten and pack in a long box. Otherwise, any Tupperware with compartments is better.

OK, Tupperware with compartments it is! Thank you folks! Smile

I use a little craft box and wrap necklaces round a small square of card which fit into the compartments. Nice and tidy, my earrings live in the other bits, and you can move the dividers around so a beady necklace can go in too

Oooh do you have a link to the kind of craft box you use Dibbler?

Mine is like this. It has survived my very frequent travel for work perfectly, and also has a few safety pins and hair grips/pins as well.

Accessorize do them. Have a search on their website for 'jewellery roll'.
