Help me make this gift from DH look amazing!

DH got me the long cardigan in the picture for Christmas! I admired it in a shop recently and he remembered so brownie points for that!

It’s really nice but what can I wear with it? I tried it on with black jeans and it looks really plain.

We are going out on Saturday night for a child free meal and I’d really like to wear it! Can I take be glammed up?

Any suggestions?

Smart fitted grey jeans/white trouser and a sparkly top?

Smart Jeans and over the calf boots would also look cool.

Black skinnies, heels, black top and amazing silver necklace or cuff. Red lipstick.

See now I would wear a Peter Pan fitted but long /3/4 length sleeve in a colour of your choice with a suede / black leather or brightly coloured (no longer than knee length) skirt. And slender and high boots that match the top as much as possible. My choice boots would be black leather knee length with golden pointy tips and silver 3" heels (wore them to my viva voca many moons ago to kick ass).
Stud earrings and sleek eyes with vamp red lips.

That cardi has potential. ....especially to someone in a onesie with an under 18mo who is exercising their vocal cords down the baby phone

Hair out, if curly go for kick ass volume, if straight, sleek it back in a high fuss free ponytail.
