Need a new watch as old one broke and not worth £ to repair. I like chunky/masculine style and silver or rose gold metal straps rather than leather - around the £150 mark. Any suggestions?

I love citizen ecodrive watches. Lots of different styles to choose from and around the right price. Worth checking amazon for bargains.

Thank you for all these suggestions...liking the Eco Drive (but reviews about how easily the watch faces scratch bit worrying) and the Mondaine's simple style really appeals! Wonder if man's one would be too chunky - might try and head to town to try some on.

My ex bought me an Eco drive 16 years ago and it's still going strong and looks brand new.
It's not really my style though. I've just picked up a lovely Olivia Burton watch in the John Lewis style. They might fit your bill, have a look at them - lots of rose gold and silver options.

I have this Tissot one which was my 30th birthday present from my parents last year and I love it. The two tone is really very subtle, not as obvious as it looks on the pics online.
