Dress for DS christening

Dear MN style gurus please help me. I'm wearing this dress to my DS christening in early Feb (so it will be cold) and I'm just not sure how to accessorise - I was thinking black tights and black LK Bennett Audrey kitten heels and will wear my black Maxmara wool coat but is that all a bit funereal? Should I add a necklace or scarf? I'm rubbish at accessories!!

I wouldn't wear black tights to church-sheer stockings instead maybe?

Forgot to add pic of dress! Should also say it's knee length on me as I am not a model height (sadly)

It’s quite short, I’d go for opaques for church. Wear a nice bright/gold/silver necklace?

Thanks both - opaques should be ok for church and the dress is knee length as I am v short. Not sure about necklace because of the lace knit neck detail but I think it needs something- I'll try a couple of options

Looks good.

I wear black opaque tights to church every single week October - April.

Add a scarf, mainly because some churches are very cold.
