been to the Hobbs' online sale and spent €450. Is that outrageous?
I "saved" €160 against the full price and bought:
1 pair grey wool trousers
1 pair navy and cream summer trousers
2 pairs shorts
1 navy and burgundy wool skirt
Am still toying with a silk shirt.

It’s all relative. If you can afford it, no debt and have savings then it’s not outrageous.

MulhuddartDrive · 25/12/2017 18:43

Silk shirt?? Where? I thought I had bought and returned every silk shirt in the land at this stage.

ZaraW · 25/12/2017 18:47

If you can afford it and you love the clothes and not because they were discounted then why is it outrageous?

dudsville · 25/12/2017 18:50

I nearly bought two dresses. I blame you op! But I managed to walk away. Dresses are for summer weddings and who knows what I will want to wear in 6 months!

chocolateiamydrug · 25/12/2017 19:49

that's more than I spend in 3-4 years on clothes. so to me it is ridiculous but if you can afford it, why not :)

All the above were Hobbs. I did visit the Jigsaw sale, but didn't see anything that grabbed my attention. I think Jigsaw has gone off a bit in the past couple of years. Same with Jaeger and Pure Collection :-(

And it all went back again. Lovely stuff, too big because Hobbs thinks a size 12 is EU 40, which is HUGE and used to equate to a 14, so stuff slipping off me.
Very disappointed.

GinUser. That is very disappointing but on the plus side, you have now saved even more money so can really go on the spree next time.
