Where are all the sales?

When out shopping recently a few of the retailers told me that they would be having their Jan/ Boxing Day sale start on Christmas Eve. I got up early and nothing!

Does anyone know if/ when Mint Velvet, Jigsaw and any other places will be starting to do their winter wear selling off?

Do you think they meant online? It’s common to start an online sale as soon as last chance for Christmas delivery has passed.

M&S have 59% online sale for Sparks holders - been on since yesterday. Just been sent Body Shop sale email also online. I think quite a few sales start at about 5pm ish online on Christmas Eve.

I have seen the Mint Velvet sale. It is has been on a few days. I am just being really cheeky as the boots I want are not in the sale. I was hoping I'd wake up today at 6am and they would have a bit off them. No luck. I realllllly want them (throws teddy across room) but already have too many boots so can't justify hefty price tag and am a bit skint. Even DH likes them and he normally says I have too many boots Hmm These boots are magical. They would put a smile on my face taking years off me, make me taller (so look slimmer) and would add a bit of glamour. I should just buy them anyway!!!

Jigsaw are notoriously bad at putting things in the sale. In fact I think it was them that told me their on line sale starts Christmas Eve. I have my eye on a coat that I don't need.

I am also looking for White Co. bedlinen and fancy cashmere jumper in the sale.

I am procrastinating. Need to go get ready and brace myself for the Christmas Eve rush in supermarket to pick up Turkey.

I've noticed that many shops now have sales so often that Boxing Day sales is a bit of a non event now.

I know that they use the sales to offload their non selling items. I love it when they just do 10 or 20% off everything.

Last year the online sales started when the shops shut on Christmas Eve. It's Sunday today, so might be 4pm rather than 5pm. Can you link to the boots? I also have far too many pairs but was longingly looking at a rose gold pair from red or dead, and now they're following me round the internet with their targeted ads.
