Shoes for this dress?

Hi, I’ve bought my daughter this dress for her birthday and am wondering what sort of shoes would be best.

DD is 19. She has learning difficulties (functioning at age 6) and is wobbly, so heels aren’t an option/appropriate. She has a similar dress, without sleeves, in navy, which she wears red Superga pumps with. The red is different to the red of the dress though, and they wouldn’t look great with tights.

I’d prefer something practical which would take the dress from girly (sorry- can’t articulate that any better), to fun/casual.

I’m not a Disney fan, but DD is!

Flat pumps or Mary Janes? [sorry a bit dull!] Or ankle boots?

To pick out a colour of the dress (but not the palest colour). Or I would go chestnut brown.

Chelsea boots or doc martens for an edgier look. Opaque tights. She will look awesome!

I found these Chelsea boots with £30 off. They aren’t quite as chunky as I was thinking, but I like ‘em! I’ll pick her up some slightly less woolly tights tomorrow.

The make is Remonte.

I bought them from an independent shoe shop. They’re good for DD because they aren’t too heavy.
