I want to buy my DDs some stocking filler type gifts (main presents sorted thank god). I left it really last minute, I know. I have the day off so I can try the shops this afternoon and hopefully amazon prime whatever I can’t find

DD1 (19) studies fashion buying at LCF. I want to get her some iconic fashion books, but I don’t know anything about fashion or where to start. Recommendations pleaseSmile Also thought a vegan cookbook could be nice - any recommendations of good ones?

DD2 (17) loves makeup. I should be okay with getting her gifts in store later as I know what she wants!

Iconic fashion books tend to be quite spendy and usually giant formats so not always easy to find in any old bookstore, also quite specific unless we're talking throwaway gift books.

Not strictly vegan but considering she's also a student an Indian cookbook may be good as it's also budget friendly (to cook) and easy to veganise. Fresh India (vegetarian) by Meera Sodha is good and there's a follow up too but that one possibly isn't vegetarian. I've only cooked Anna Jones recipes from the Guardian but they're fast and simple, it's vegetarian/vegan focused and she has a few books out now.

For DD2, if you haven't gotten it for her last year Face Paint by Lisa Eldridge is a nice gift book for a true makeup lover.
