Wide leg trousers

I’m tall and size 16 with long rather chunky legs, although fortunately my thighs are not too bad.
Usually I wear straight leg jeans so I want a different look.
If you wear wide leg trousers/jeans, what do you wear with them? Particularly footwear.

Boots with a bit of a heel. Would look good with heels but I don't often wear heels. Sometimes, I'll wear wide trousers with flats (1cm heel or so) as I'm also tall with long legs so the proportions work anyway.

I’ve just bought some lovely black drapey crepe wide-legs from Per Una and have been wearing them with slim-heeled suede wedges.

I’ve bought two pairs, both M&S, one also from (ahem) Per Una but different to yours Laquila
It’s footwear I struggle with as I live in boots in the winter and none look right with them.
I’ll have to find some flatish shoes I think.

I wear my wide legged woollen trousers with trainers for work.

I’ve worn mine with Adidas campers Count, but I’ve only got pale suede colours that get ruined in this weather.
Where did you get your wool wide leg trousers from?

Mine were from Boden. I've had them for years but they usually do a pair each winter in a few colours.

I wear my white leather Supergas with my navy ones and brown penny loafers with my grey herringbone ones.
