Can I wash my DD's Adidas Hamburg's?

DD's Adidas Hamburg trainers (white with black stripes leather) are a bit grubby & damp from being outside, can I put them on a quick wash in washing machine or will it totally ruin them?

I'm sure you can - I wash my daughter's leather Superstars frequently and they come out as new!

(I also wash my fabric Superstars and they too come out fine.)

Yes, I usually put trainers inside an old pillow case tied shut. Stops so much banging in the machine. I spin them twice then leave them on radiator to dry. They look new again!

Even leather? Am tempted to do my leather stan smiths.
Anyone tried?
