Can this be a neutral? All-year, all occasion bag?

Do you like it?

I’m not a fan. I don’t like chains as handles.

Whiterabbitears · 20/12/2017 19:04

Yes I like it, the colour is a good neutral and I would use all year round. I would prefer it to not have the chain handle though.

HouseworkIsAPain · 20/12/2017 19:05

I’m not overly keen - looks at it like an alien head

Killerfairy · 20/12/2017 19:06

I love grey but not a fan of this. I think it looks very dated.

RestingGrinchFace · 20/12/2017 19:07

A bit OTT

LaurieFairyCake · 20/12/2017 19:43

Yes it is all those things and if you can bear carrying the chain (it's harsh on clothes as it wears the nap) then go for it

Is it big enough for you?

BusterGonad · 20/12/2017 19:48

I think it's dated too. Sorry op!

MikeUniformMike · 20/12/2017 19:50

It's a No. Grey, chain, style - no.

Ihavepatrick · 20/12/2017 19:52

I like it

botemp · 20/12/2017 20:07

Going by the pictures it's preloved, isn't it? Nothing wrong with that but this is definitely one of those bags that's being sold for a reason.

It's a tough grey to match outfits too, it's somewhat dated with the quilting, the overall shape, and chain. The hardware isn't really one colour (logo and chain differ) which makes it less versatile to wear. If you like it that's all that matters but I wouldn't consider this an all occasion all year bag.

ReallyConvolutedCareerHistory · 20/12/2017 20:14

Yup it's preloved. The other pictures show the logo and the chain to be same colour.

I've never had a grey bag. I want a grey bag that will work for black, white, pink - basically those are the colours I wear. Mostly black.

Also, my style is more edgy and casual. All my other bags are edgy and casual. This would be the first away from that style but I'm wondering if this can work as edgy too with the right outfit.

Wouldn't be my cup of tea 🍵

Paintbox · 20/12/2017 20:21

I think with a classic outfit like shift dress and Chanel jacket, it would look dated and dull. With a funkier edgier dresser I think it would really work

FourEyesGood · 20/12/2017 20:22

I’m not keen. It’s a nay from me.

HouseworkIsAPain · 20/12/2017 20:22

It looks more like a mushroom colour than a versatile grey. I think you can get nicer bags.

MummySparkle · 20/12/2017 20:24

No. Just a no

botemp · 20/12/2017 20:29

I think it would take a lot of hard work to make it go edgy and that disqualifies it as a versatile bag at that point.

How positive are you it's authentic? It's my own gut instinct but something feels off and it has to do with the colour although that may be down to poor colour image representation with a camera but YSL bags in grey are usually much darker, closer to graphite/asphalt or a bit lighter, more mousey grey. Those tones are much more versatile this one feels a bit off to me for that reason.

ReallyConvolutedCareerHistory · 20/12/2017 20:33

How positive are you it's authentic?

Not sure, but will have it authenticated if I get it. Listing states money back if proven not authentic. Also, money back guarantee pretty much offers that.

I love it! I also love chain handles!

SmileChuck · 20/12/2017 20:55

I absolutely love it.

Fiere · 20/12/2017 20:57

You could probably nail it with faded jeans, a cool tee and a leather jacket

Janetjanetjanet · 20/12/2017 20:57

Nope. Hate labels.
