Before I go out and but replacement GHD' s, are there alternatives?

Bearing in mind my GHD' s have lasted about 12 years and I use them every day ish and have the most ridiculously frizzy/curly hair .
But it's been over a decade since I bought straighteners and GHD' s were always the DB

Aren't ghds repaired free if you send them back?

Have just bought Cloud 9 based on recommendation on here, definitely preferred my old GHD’s, they seem smaller and therefore harder to get coverage.
