Christmas manicure - what colour shall I have?

I'm really looking forward to this manicure and would love a red colour, but what shade would be most flattering for my older looking hands?

I would go for a cherry red

Red and glittery is a Xmas failsafe

I prefer a more coral red. The ‘blue’ (and darker reds) emphasise the veins in my hands. But for me it depends what I’m wearing- something that goes well with my clothes without being matchy matchy.

I think coral is too summery
